The Inventory Supervisor will ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible in accordance with the organization’s inventory cycle.

This position is responsible for the operations and people within the facility. This facility is 150,000 ft, with 50+ employees and ships 10,000 ecommerce orders on peak days. A successful candidate should thrive on running a team with a sense of urgency and purpose while enjoying working with a prominent level of technology.

This is 1 of 9 North American facilities in our network. The position will have access to collaboration and support from across the business.

This position is Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and trains Inventory staff.
  • Oversees the job assignments and activities of Inventory staff.
  • Collaborates with warehouse managers to provide performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
  • Assist with the discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
  • Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
  • Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.
  • Communicates with leadership as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
  • Ensures milestones and goals are met.
  • Ensures adherence to approved budget.
  • Performs and assists with general maintenance and cleanup of warehouse.
  • Operates forklift as needed.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Forklift Certification required.


  • At least 2-3 years of related inventory leadership experience required.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience required.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent supervisory and people skills.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • A sense of urgency and self-motivation.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems and issues.
  • Excellent math and accounting skills.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.

Position Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time/duration of shift.
  • Must be able to hear and see in accordance to safety measures in the warehouse.
  • Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
