That’s why we’re making a significant investment in building the best solutions to meet the unique needs of wholesale fulfillment. We are seeking a Wholesale Product Lead to join our Product team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in wholesale and B2B processes to shape our product offerings, ensuring they meet the complex needs of our clients. You will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and customer service teams to develop detailed specifications, provide training, and ensure we address the right challenges for our customers. Your direct engagement with clients will be crucial in gathering insights and validating solutions, bridging the gap between customer needs and our product development.
Responsibilities
- Product Specification Development: Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to create clear, actionable product specifications that align with customer needs and business objectives.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct discovery calls, visit customer warehouses, gather feedback, and ensure our solutions effectively address customer pain points and challenges.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between product, engineering, sales, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Sales Enablement: Work closely with sales teams to develop and deliver training materials that highlight our product’s wholesale and B2B capabilities.
- Customer Service Training: Develop and conduct training sessions to empower customer-facing teams with the knowledge to support and communicate product features effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in Wholesale and B2B Processes: In-depth understanding of B2B workflows including retailer routing guides and compliance, wholesale best practices, as well as customer-specific requirements.
- Strategic Understanding: Ability to grasp the 'whys' behind business processes, not just the 'hows', and leverage that insight to guide decision-making.
- Decision-Making and Leadership: Be opinionated about decisions and actively help guide the direction of the product to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Collaborative Approach: Proven experience working effectively in cross-functional team environments.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Adept at identifying and addressing customer pain points with practical solutions.
