Our Solutions Specialists transition New Customers to Super Users. We do it quickly, and we do it with consistently high quality. We empower companies to use our platform well, and introduce them to our customer-first culture and exceptional support team. Count on being busy, but your work is important. We're looking to use your strengths, and provide training and coaching in areas you need. This position does require onsite engagement with customers for consulting and process improvement independent of the onboarding function. Even if you don't have all of the following, but think you'd be awesome, please apply:

  • You understand an audience, and know how to be "on stage." You work well with the Sales team to answer advanced questions from prospective customers, and you'll even assist the Sales Team with demonstrations...putting our amazing application through it's paces.
  • A new application? A new digital process or workflow? You're definitely not afraid of software.
  • You seek expertise with every tool you are exposed to. Become knowledgeable with the ShipHero platform, understanding features, and capabilities.
  • Once you understand the tool, you learn how it is best used: become knowledgeable in warehouse / distribution operations.
  • You're the person who speaks about complicated things in simple ways. You'll detail and communicate complicated workflows and features, as well as identify and understand how features can address customer goals and pain points.
  • Can you walk the walk? You have a moderate operations and/or physical distribution background.
  • Putting on your thinking cap: most of our consulting services are 1 to 2 days. You'll be steering customers into best practices and process improvements, leveraging our application's features to do so. So, quantitative measurements and process improvement disciplines will be needed. LSSGB or higher (or another process improvement system you can articulate and use), APICS certifications or familiarity, and an understanding of productivity and labor measures in an operations environment will be extremely important for your success.
  • Are you rare? This is a position where software development experience is helpful, but not mandatory. Very important to your success is learning how some pretty cool software stuff works. If terms like "API," or "Integration" or "configuration layer," don't freak you out, cool!
  • Once you understand the tool, and have familiarized yourself with operations, you become trusted advisor to customers eager to improve. You'll recommend improvements to customers existing workflows and processes in the warehouse.
  • You're training, coaching, and teaching! This entails calls, screen sharing, emails with the goal of producing satisfied and proficient customers in the use of ShipHero.
  • Like to get out of the house for a few days? You will travel between 10% and 30% domestically.
  • You juggle many chainsaws, making it look effortless. Time management is exceedingly important. You will have more than one onboarding engagement at a time.
  • We're an international company with team members all over the place...but this position must reside in the United States.
