At ShipHero we make it easy to manage eCommerce logistics in more ways than one. Our proprietary Warehouse Management Software (WMS) allows our customers to run an efficient warehouse and fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately. Our fulfillment division operates our own warehouses providing fulfillment services for brands across the US and Canada.

We want to put this great technology in the hands of more brands, retailers, and 3PLs to help them grow. As our growth continues, we are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help us achieve our goals in 2024 and beyond.

This hands-on role is responsible for developing impactful messaging, establishing differentiation against our competitors, and creating compelling stories about how our platform delivers results and content that supports our go-to-market.

This individual will work cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, and creative teams to orchestrate high-impact product launches, obtain in-depth customer and competitive insights, develop personas and use cases, and create messaging and collateral. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can work on both creative marketing initiatives and strategy to bring new products to the market. A typical week for this role could include:

  • Building compelling messaging and positioning that speak to our relevant audiences - merchants, 3PLs, and partners
  • Supporting our marketing efforts by managing end-to-end feature releases and other product launches
  • Developing sales tools and collateral that facilitate the selling process
  • Creating customer stories and case studies that highlight customer wins and product differentiation
  • Supporting competitive analysis and collateral creation to educate the market on our unique value proposition
  • Orchestrating the development of content in various forms, including video, that help ShipHero stand out in the market

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing at a SaaS company or similar
  • Creative thinker who can generate innovative marketing ideas, work collaboratively, and lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution amidst multiple priorities and goals
  • Organizational skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Exceptional communication skills in front of internal and external audiences
  • Experience with pricing & packaging initiatives
  • Experience in building, managing, and updating competitive programs, including battlecards and Win/Loss analyses
